By becoming a member of the LGC you will be joining a membership of nearly 1000 people in continuing the essential work of bringing diverse networking opportunities and technical assistance to the policymakers of our communities.
You will also be a part of our LGC Alert e-mail service that brings you up-to-date information about federal and state grants and other funding opportunities. (Members say this service has brought thousands of dollars to their communities!)

- Subscriptions to our two monthly newsletters, LGC Reports and Livable Places Update and a bimonthly publication, Currents: An Energy Newsletter for Local Governments. These newsletters share innovative projects and policies so that each city and county doesn’t have to "reinvent the wheel."
- Access to the LGC’s Center for Livable Communities, a clearinghouse of information relating to livability issues and providing ongoing assistance to communities through staff advice, technical information, referrals, and resource materials.
Membership Levels
You can sign-up for an LGC membership at one of the levels below when you register for any of our events. Any available discounts will be applied when you become a member. (These fees may change depending on the conference.)
Individual Membership: $125 Annual Dues
For Local Elected Officials
Associate Membership: $75 Annual Dues
For Government Staff, Planners, Architects, Community Leaders
